You can add your clients quickly by importing a spreadsheet file (.csv, .xls, .xlsx) instead of adding clients one-by-one. The bulk import process allows you to select a file from your computer, then we walk you through each step to select the matching fields in Hearth and ensure all your information formats correctly in Hearth so you don’t have any missing information.

How to use bulk import

To import your clients, go to Account >> Settings, then select Bulk Import.

Step 1 — Upload your file

You can drag-and-drop or “click to upload” to select any spreadsheet file to upload (.csv, .xls, .xlsx)

Step 2 — Map your columns

Match the columns from your file with the corresponding field in Hearth (left side). The fields with an asterisk (*) are required for importing a client.

Step 3 — Review and submit

On this screen you can review and edit your data before importing. Once you are done reviewing your data, press Submit to complete the bulk import.

How to handle errors in your upload

If there are incomplete or invalid rows, you can easily click the “Show all rows” dropdown to switch to seeing only the invalid rows
